1. Midwall Split Unit/Cassette Split Unit
1.1 Midwall Split Unit:
The system is directed more towards the domestic markets. It is the ideal air-conditioning solution for one room or an area of your home, as the indoor unit is installed in the particular room/area, whilst the outdoor unit is placed in an outdoor location.
Capacities – Ranging from 9 000 Btu’s (2.5 kW) to 30 000 Btu’s (10kW).
1.2 Cassette Split Unit:
This system is better suited for large areas, such as open-plan offices. The indoor unit is typically installed within the ceiling space, leaving a thin profiled visible panel below the ceiling. The outdoor unit is placed in an outdoor location.
Capacities – Ranging from 12 000 Btu’s (3.5 kW) to 50 000 Btu’s (14kW).
